To be(tray) or not to be(tray)?

I’ve been trying to wrap my head around this question. Are we really “be-trayers”, or people who bother to return our trays after our meals?

Earlier this year, SKM started a reminder campaign, using bright yellow stickers and tent cards at fast food joints to encourage patrons to clear up their tables and return their trays after their meals. And according to the survey results released by SKM last month, more people are doing so at food courts and fast food outlets.

*SMILE!*

No - nobody's taking your picture and you're definitely not on television. We're asking you to smile because it's good for you.

As we find ourselves chasing deadlines and occupied with our own schedules, we may not be in the mood to shine a smile at the people we meet. If we do, it is often a half-smile or an i'm-only-doing-this-because-you're-my superior smile. Sounds familiar?

And if you happen to meet people with frowns or indifferent looks, you'd think- 'why even bother?'.
