Thirty years ago, a group of young mothers became neighbours at the Seletar Airbase. After moving out to the HDB estates, these group of neighbours (my mum included) decided to meet once every year over a potluck session to catch up – always on a Saturday, 6pm till late. For the past 20+ years and counting, we’ve had many potluck feasts at Christina’s, Cindy’s, Genevieve’s and Julia’s (my mum) house. No longer immediate neighbours but the friendship is definitely still going strong!
