Kindness on two wheels with SG Bike

May 21, 2018

With the sun gleaming, windmill craft daisies spinning and the CBD crowd out on their lunch break. It was time to celebrate Kindness Day 2018!

Team Kindness, Team SG Bike and volunteers from the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) took a little breather from work last Friday (18 May 2018) at lunchtime to celebrate kindness and graciousness. Together, we went on a cycling adventure around The Promontory, Fullerton Bay and the Esplanade area to bring smiles to members of the public. In total, 800 windmill craft daisies were given out to people from all walks of life. Not only did these windmill craft daisies bring a smile to the recipients, but more importantly they were a symbol of appreciation.

A member of the public was also inspired to help, she joined the team in folding windmill craft daisies along The Promontory. It was definitely an uplifting gesture in spite of the hot weather. Many thanks to SG Bike for supporting us in celebrating Kindness Day SG!
