We are pleased to share some significant developments within the Singapore Kindness Movement (SKM) that will strengthen our collaboration and impact our shared mission.
Firstly, we are delighted to announce Michelle Tay’s promotion to Director of Programmes and Operations. Michelle has been a dedicated and invaluable member of SKM for the past 17 years. She has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, commitment, and passion for our mission.

In her new role as Director, Michelle will guide SKM in our continued journey to promote kindness and graciousness in our community. She will collaborate with the Council and team to align SKM’s mission, amplify its voice, and bolster its public engagement while continuing to strengthen SKM’s culture, emphasising Synergy, Kinship, and Mindset.
Secondly, we are pleased to share that our current General Secretary, Dr William Wan, will take on the role of Senior Consultant within SKM. Dr Wan has been a driving force behind our initiatives for the past 12 years, and we are glad to retain his involvement in this vital capacity. As Senior Consultant, he will lend his wealth of expertise and experience to Michelle and the team, ensuring that we continue our journey of kindness.

Although Michelle will be the brand’s key face and voice, both she and Dr Wan will continue to be instrumental in representing SKM in various activities ranging from judging panels to speaking engagements.
Both Michelle and Dr Wan have shown unwavering dedication to the cause of promoting kindness and building a more compassionate society. Their new titles reflect the recognition of their hard work, commitment, and their profound impact on our mission.
With these leadership changes, we look forward to continuing our collaboration with you as we commit to advancing our shared mission of creating a kinder, more gracious society.
Let’s continue to be greater together.
