Primary school pupils make her day

April 24, 2013

A group of 20 Primary 3 pupils from Northview Primary School turned up at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital’s A&E department yesterday afternoon, bearing personalised cards for hospital staff there.

The pupils wrote and decorated the cards themselves.

A joint initiative between the school and Singapore Kindness Movement, the Card-A-Kindness movement encouraged the pupils to show their appreciation for what the nurses do for the community.

Senior nurse Mary Grace Dalisay said the pupils made her day.

In the spirit of passing kindness on, the pupils also passed their recipient an empty card that they can choose to present to whomever they choose.

  1. I am a student from North View Primary School. I also did something like that with my school mates. My P5 Level went to the firestation to pass cards to the retired fire fighters.
